Hi!  My name is Emiko and I'm the proud owner/artist at Face Nectar Colorado.  Thank you so much for visiting my website and please call if you have questions or comments!  It is my goal to provide the highest quality art work and customer service for your special events. 

 

Here's a little bit about me... 

 

Thanks to my wonderfully creative and talented mom, art has always been a part of my life.  As a child we drew portraits, would sew doll clothes, and all sorts of artsy-craftsy projects!  Together, Mom & I would design original, hand-made clothes, Halloween costumes, and even prom dresses!  So, by instilling that love of design and art, Mom has given me a gift that keeps on giving and today I'm painting, crafting, and creating with my own daughter!  (Love you, Mama!!)

 

A few years back, I began experimenting with painting on skin and found it to be such a fun and interesting canvas.  In the summer of 2014, I painted at a friend's birthday party and it was such a hit!  They loved it!  The amazing part for me was to see how much kids and parents alike appreciated my art!  It seriously brought me to tears.  I continued to paint periodically for my friends and at work events, while planning and writing up my business plan, until finally I decided to go all-in!  After 15 years of working in a corporate setting I made the leap and became a full-time artist and small business owner!  What?!?  Dream come true.  Anyway...I'm super lucky to have such a supportive family and I feel so grateful and excited to be on this artistic journey!

 

My family and I live in Lakewood, CO.  When we're not doing art projects, we spend our time skiing, camping and hiking in the mountains, and dancing at music festivals! To the left are some pics of my favorite people doing some of our favorite things together!
